Job purpose
To organize, coordinate, manage and develop sustainable sunflower commercial farming in compliance with the company’s short and long term plans
Job Qualifications/experience
- Degree in Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness or Agronomy from a recognized tertiary institute or equivalent
- Experience in sunflower growing and production
- Substantial experience with crop protection products, fertilizers, and seeds with experience in sunflower seen production
- Strong domain experience and background in farming and agricultural production
- Knowledge of the trends, practices, and characteristics of farmers, specifically in Sunflower
- Usage and Management of Agronomic data
- Agronomy and agronomic processes
- Grower and farm operations
- Very strong communication and interpersonal skills with a heightened sensitivity to the issue that farmers face
- Comfortable with technology
