Job purpose

To organize, coordinate, manage and develop sustainable sunflower commercial farming in compliance with the company’s short and long term plans

Job Qualifications/experience

• Degree in Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness or Agronomy from a recognized tertiary institute or equivalent
• Experience in sunflower growing and production
• Substantial experience with crop protection products, fertilizers, and seeds with experience in sunflower seen production
• Strong domain experience and background in farming and agricultural production
• Knowledge of the trends, practices, and characteristics of farmers, specifically in Sunflower
• Usage and Management of Agronomic data
• Agronomy and agronomic processes
• Grower and farm operations
• Very strong communication and interpersonal skills with a heightened sensitivity to the issue that farmers face
• Comfortable with technology
