M/S Meru Agro-Tours & Consultants Co. Ltd (MATCC) is a local private company based in Arusha that specialized in Agricultural inputs business. The company deals with multiplication and distribution of agro seeds; importation and distribution of agrochemicals and provision of technical advisory services on farm input use and management. In addition, the company conducts agricultural research in collaboration with national, regional and international research institutes.

 

In its bid to implements its business development strategies the company is looking for self driving candidates to fill the following vacancies below:-

Accounts & Finance Officer (1 Post)

Accounts & Finance Officer at M/S Meru Agro-Tours & Consultants Co. Ltd (MATCC) October, 2023

Job Title Accounts & Finance Officer (1 Post) – Arusha.

Report to Managing Director.

Duties and responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports including income statement, balance sheet and financial statement,
• Prepare and submit timely and accurate tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and payroll taxes.
• Prepare and submit timely and accurate NSSF and WCF contributions
• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to forecast future trends, revenues, and expenses
• Keep accurate records and for daily transactions and update internal systems with financial data,
• Track bank deposits, cash payments and do reconciliation,
• Participate in stocks, financial audits and tax preparations,
• Develop and implement financial policies and internal procedures.

Qualifications/education

• Must possess at least Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance plus CPA (T).
• Strong technical accounting and financial skills with experience in using Quick-Books.
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Excellent computer skills

 

Experience

• The candidates must have an experience in finance or accounting for at least 5 years in a reputable organization

 

Excavators & Bulldozers Operators (4 Posts) at M/S Meru Agro-Tours & Consultants Co. Ltd (MATCC) October, 2023

Job Title Excavators & Bulldozers Operators (4 Posts) – Katavi & Singida

Report to Farm Manager

 

Duties and responsibilities

• Operate and maintain excavators, bulldozers and other machines in a safe and appropriate manner.
• Perform routine inspections to identify and report any machinery malfunctions or safety concerns
• Should be able to achieve daily work plan targets
• Understand and follow instructions from the supervisors

 

Qualifications/education

• Must possess an ordinary secondary school certificate (From IV)
• Must possess a clean and valid operator/driving license class “ F”
• Must have attended formal training from VETA or any other reputable training institute

 

Experience

• The candidates should have at least 3 years of work experience as an operator of Excavator / Bulldozer.

 

Tractor Drivers/Operators (10 Posts)

Job Title Tractor Drivers/Operators (10 Posts) Katavi & Singida

Report to: Farm Manager

Duties and responsibilities

• Operate and maintain tractors and other farm machinery efficiently and safely
• Transport materials, supplies, and harvested crops within the farm
• Perform routine inspections to identify and report any machinery malfunctions or safety concerns
• Support the planting, irrigation, and harvesting activities as directed.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment
• Should be able to achieve daily work plan targets
• Understand and follow instructions from the supervisors

Qualifications/education

• Must possess an ordinary secondary school certificate (From IV)
• Must possess a clean and valid operator/driving license class “ G”
• Must have attended formal training from VETA or any other reputable training institute

 

Experience

The candidates should have at least 3 years of work experience as a tractor driver in a reputable company

 

Remuneration

A lucrative package will be offered for the successful candidate commensurate with MATCC scheme of service.
