Air Tanzania Company Limited (ATCL) is implementing its five years Corporate Strategic Plan (2017/2018-2020-2021) which includes the network expansion in local, regional and international destinations.
Intern Details: Applications are invited from suitably qualified Tanzanian graduates for internship in the following areas/programs below at ATCL.
Job Tittle: Traffic Liaison (4 Positions)
Minimum Requirement:
- Diploma in Air Transport Management or IATA Diploma in Ground Handling Services or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Other Requirements:
- Possession of Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) is a must.
- Computer literacy (E.g. Ms. Word and Excel).
- Good communication (English and Swahili) and Interpersonal Skills.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Must be ready to adhere to ATCL internal guidelines.
Job Tittle: Aviation Quality and Safety (4 Positions)
Minimum Requirement:
- Certificate in Flight Operation or Airline Quality and Safety from a recognized institution.
Other Requirements:
- Possession of Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) is a must.
- Computer literacy (E.g. Ms. Word and Excel).
- Good communication (English and Swahili) and Interpersonal Skills.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Must be ready to adhere to ATCL internal guidelines.
Job Tittle: Customer Service and Reservation (4 Positions)
Minimum Requirement:
- IATA Diploma in Reservation and Ticketing
- Bachelor Degree of Business Administration and Marketing from a recognized institution is preferable.

- Possession of Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) is a must.
- Computer literacy (E.g. Ms. Word and Excel).
- Good communication (English and Swahili) and Interpersonal Skills.

Job Tittle: Cargo Sales (5 Position)
Minimum Requirement:
- Trained /qualified in Cargo operations (IATA Diploma in Cargo, Dangerous goods Regulations) or Diploma or Degree in Air Transport management.

- Computer literacy (E.g. Ms. Word and Excel).

Job Tittle: Aircraft Maintenance (4 Positions)
Minimum Requirement:
- Bachelor Degree of Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Other Requirements:
- Possession of Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) is a must.
- Computer literacy (E.g. Ms. Word and Excel).
- Good communication (English and Swahili) and Interpersonal Skills.
- Excellent analytical skills.

Job Tittle: EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT (1 POST)
Qualifications
- At least a Form IV Certificate with a Diploma in Secretarial Studies.
- Must have passed Shorthand and Hatimkato 80-100 w.p.m
- Must have attended Management Development Course for Executive Assistants Level I or relevant qualifications
- Hands on Working experience of not less than five (5) years in a reputable organization
- Outstanding command in communication both in English and Kiswahili (writing and speaking)
- Candidates with a strong background in working in competitive business environment with heavy administrative workload as well as handling Senior Executives will be given preference
Duties and Responsibilities
- Providing assistance to top executives of the Company
- Assisting in coordinating secretarial functions with other departments.
- Typing letters and other documents
- Undertaking routine correspondence with prior approval of his/her senior.
- Arranging meetings and appointment schedules for the Senior Executives.
- Assisting in drafting and proof – reading reports and write-ups for the executives.
- Coordinate official appointments and travel arrangements
- Deals with confidential matters in the office of the Executives.
- Keep record of events and documents
- Performs any other duties as may be assigned by his/her senior.
REMUNERATION:
- Five 5) years contract with attractive remuneration and fringe benefits as per ATCL Scales and Incentive Scheme.
