Muleba District is one of the districts of Kagera Region, Tanzania with postcode number 35500. In the 2002 census, the district’s population was estimated at 540,310.

Muleba was a Bukoba division and was established as a separate district in 1984. Its headquarters are in the town of Muleba which had a population of 10,000 during the 2002 census.
The district has five divisions of Muleba, Kimwani, Nshamba, Izigo and Kamachumu. The area of the district is 3,444 square kilometers plus 7925 km of Lake Victoria water including 20 islands.
