- Exam Principles
HSK follows the principle of ” combining test and teaching ” . The test design is closely integrated with the current situation of international Chinese teaching and the use of teaching materials. The purpose is to ” promote teaching by test ” and ” promote learning by test ” .
HSK pays attention to the objectiveness and accuracy of evaluation, and pays more attention to the development of test takers’ Chinese application ability.
HSK sets clear test objectives to facilitate candidates to improve their Chinese application ability in a planned and effective manner.
- Exam use
HSK continues the positioning of the original HSK general (or general) Chinese proficiency test and is aimed at adult Chinese learners. Its achievements can meet diverse needs:
1 . It provides a reference basis for college admissions, divided classes, course exemptions, and credit awarding.
2 . Provide a reference basis for the hiring, training and promotion of staff by employers.
3 . Provide reference for Chinese learners to understand and improve their Chinese application ability.
4 . Provide a reference for relevant Chinese teaching units and training institutions to evaluate the effectiveness of teaching or training.
- Score report
One month after the test, candidates can log on to the Chinese test service website www.chinesetest.cn to check their scores. The HSK score report is issued by the Chinese-Foreign Language Exchange and Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Education, and the score is valid for two years from the test date.
