Job Purpose

Responsible for the management of all matters related to logistics, including overseeing the movement and distribution of stock in the organization. The role holder will work yle=”font-weight: 400;”>closely with Supervisors and the engaged third-party Logistics providers to ensure timely order delivery and fulfillment in line with business and customer needs while managing delivery costs and maximizing productivity. Oversee fleet logistics and monitoring including all aspects of costs and profits.

Job Qualifications /Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations, logistics, business administration or transportation;
• At least 5 – 6 years of experience in Logistics, fleet management and transportation working with operation, maintenance and administration of fleet;
• Thorough knowledge of transport management systems and operations scheduling; Proven record in managing revenue, costs and profitability;
• Prior experience of working in logistics/supply chain/transportation function within the logistics, retail or manufacturing environment;
• Comprehensive knowledge of logistics processes and procedures; . Must be able to work under pressure and for long hours;
• Must be able to work under minimum supervision.
