INCREASING THE DURATION OF UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSIONS AT HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS IN THE COUNTRY FOR PROGRAMS THATS TILL HAVE A CHANCE FOR THE 2023/2024 ACADEMIC YEAR

PUBLIC NOTICE

 

INTRODUCTION

The Tanzania Universities Commission (TCU) would like to inform the public, Higher Education Institutions and Higher Education stakeholders in and outside Tanzania that admission in all three phases to the undergraduate level in the country’s Higher Education Institutions for the 2023/2024 academic year has been completed. Names of those who were admitted in the third phase they are announced by the respective colleges.

 

STUDENTS ENROLLED IN MORE THAN ONE SCHOOL

Applicants who have been admitted to more than one college in Phase Three and those who have not been able to verify admission in the previous phases are encouraged to confirm their admission to one of the colleges from today 13th to 24th.

October 2023 using a special passcode sent by text message via their phone numbers or emails they used when applying for admission. Those who are if they do not receive the message, they are advised to log into the admissions systems of the colleges they are enrolled in and request a text message with a specific number of ensure that you can prove yourself in the school.

In addition, proof of admission should be done through the account that the applicant used when applying for admission. List of names of students in more than one school posted on TCU’s website (www.tcu.go.tz).

 

OPENING OF THE FOURTH PHASE OF ADMISSION

After the completion of all three phases of admission, the Commission has received applications for the Application for the Admission of the Student Union (Tanzania Higher Education Institutions (TAHLISO), some applicants who they have not been able to get admission in previous phases and also the colleges that still have opportunities have been given time to continue to send their application. Thus, the Commission has extended the admissions period by opening the fourth and final phase of admissions that begins today 13 to 17 October, 2023. The Commission stresses that applicants who could not send applications for admission or failed to be enrolled in previous phases due to various reasons, should take advantage of this opportunity by correctly sending their application to the sign up to the schools they love. The Commission directs all Higher Education Institutions in the country that hold undergraduate admissions to continue to advertise programs that still have vacancies.
