ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To participate in the SI Global Executive Programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Eligible countries: Be a citizen and resident of one of the programme countries: Bangladesh, Brazil. China, Colombia, Egypt, Georgia, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico, Moldova, Morocco, Nigeria, Philippines, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania, Thailand, Türkiye, Ukraine*, or Vietnam.
*Ukrainian applicants who reside outside of Ukraine are eligible to apply.
- Have a leadership position, such as CEO or senior executive, in a medium to large company with a mandate to spearhead strategic changes throughout their business.
- Be at least 30 years old (born 1994 at the latest).
- Have a good working knowledge of both written and spoken English.
- Have a completed post-secondary education (the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree or greater).
- Be willing to actively participate, provide support and share their experience and knowledge with other participants.
- Have identified business needs or problems that could be worked on during the programme to help their company improve its contribution to a more sustainable world.
Application Procedures
How-to-Apply: Interested applicants for the Swedish Institute Global Executives Programme 2024 are to complete an online application on or before the application deadline. Applicants will be required to follow the steps below to apply:
Step 1: Register your profile in the application portal: SI Global Executive Programme 2024 – Swedish Institute: Leadership application portal (si.se).
Step 2: Select what programme you would like to apply for (SI Global Executive Programme is open for application 12 February – 12 March (23:59 CET).
Step 3:Â Answer all the questions for the different sections in the application portal (found in the left-hand menu).
Step 4:Â Upload your CV as per the instructions in the portal.
Step 5: After you’ve submitted your application, you’ll receive a confirmation to your inbox in Dream Apply.
Step 6:Â You will also receive a message to your inbox in Dream Apply with a link to record a short video. Follow the instructions in the message. It will take less than ten minutes to record the video. You will get two questions to answer within two minutes each. It is advised that you make the recording in a quiet setting and, if possible, use headphones with a built-in microphone. Please note that it is mandatory to make the video recording.
