Job Description
Coca-Cola Kwanza has an exciting opportunity in our Manufacturing department. We are looking for talented individual with relevant skills and experience for a Plant Maintenance Planner Coolers role, which is based in Dar-es-Salaam. The successful candidate will report directly to the Fleet & CDE Manager. The Preventive Maintenance Planner – CDE prepares preventive and corrective maintenance plans and schedules in accordance with the CDE Maintenance Strategy, minimizing response time to maintenance and repair calls, maximizing equipment availability, and planning for spare parts availability including other resources and tools needed by the team of technicians.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
i. Prioritizes and reviews work orders while consulting with the CDE Team Leader to determine correct maintenance code types.
ii. Works in collaboration with the CDE Team Leader, Area Sales Managers and Retail Accent Developers to ensure all reported Maintenance work orders are open and closed timely.
iii. Communicating with CDE team to determine parts needed and research part items and costs.
iv. Creates purchase requests for direct to equipment spare parts, including daily monitoring of parts stock levels as well as following up with stores controller on replenishment of parts that are at the reorder threshold.
v. Modifying the work order as needed to ensure proper information and coding including revisions.
vi. Finalizes work orders by conducting technical completion of maintenance and repair work orders.
vii. Ensure that predictive maintenance techniques are implemented correctly.
viii. Implement asset management system audits to evaluate data integrity.
ix. Assist and coach staff in asset management principles and application.
x. Observe safe, healthy and risk-free working environment.
Skills, Experience & Education
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering – Refrigeration
• Minimum of three year of work experience in refrigeration.
• Previous experience coordinating maintenance activities.
• Proficient in MS Office Applications and SAP.
• Excellent communication skills, analytical thought process and problem-solving capabilities.
