OVERVIEW:
Being Business Director at Smart Codes means you have experience managing multi-faceted marketing and communication projects or multiple campaigns simultaneously; you are good with people and can mobilize different team functions to achieve a common objective; you have an entrepreneurial mind-set and above all you are able to see the big picture and give strategic business direction that benefits both Smart Codes and its Clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute Smart Code’s business strategies in order to attain its set goals and objectives
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Participate in strategic planning for new business endeavors and pitch efforts
- Delegate responsibilities and supervise the duties of Account Managers and Account Executives
- Provide guidance and motivation to the team in order to drive maximum performance for Smart Code’s Clients
- Regularly give strategic business guidance to the Account Management and Creative Teams to ensure Smart Codes is driving ROI for its Clients
- Work closely with the Creative, Media, Strategy and Production Teams to ensure Smart Codes is driving wholistic communication campaigns (one business problem one solution approach)
- Review key reports by Account Managers and Media in order to proactively give business insights to our clients
- Partner with Account Management and Strategy leads to foster outstanding client relationships
- Overseeing talent development for the Account Management Team
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
- Professional work experience of not less than seven years; two or more in a related role
- Preferably from a Marketing, Advertising, Business Strategy, Media background or related industry
- A Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Communication, Business, Public Relations, or Marketing (although other faculties are welcome to apply)
- Managed a team of not less than 3 people
- Experience in managing and developing new business pitches
- Great communication, presentation and negotiations skills
- Experience in working and exceling in high pressure roles/situations
- Leadership skills
- Problem solver (business and people)
- Analytical and Strategic
- Proficient with English
- Good with Microsoft Office (word, power-point, excel)
