The Prime Minister, Kassim Majaliwa has received a report on the proposed increase in staff salaries from the Expert Team that was preparing it for presentation to President Samia Suluhu Hassan.
He received the report tonight, Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at a meeting held at the Prime Minister’s Office, Mlimwa in Dodoma, which included the Minister of State, Prime Minister’s Office (Labor, Youth, Employment and the Disabled, Professor Joyce Ndalichako and the Minister of Finance and Planning, Dr. Mwigulu Nchemba.

Other dignitaries who attended the meeting were the Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning, Hamad Hassan Chande, the Deputy Minister of State for the President’s Office Personnel and Good Governance, Deogratius Ndejembi and the Permanent Secretaries of the ministries.
Majaliwa said the report showed that preparations for the salary increase proposal have been completed and that he will soon submit it to President Samia who will announce the expected change in July this year.

President Samia Suluhu Hassan while addressing the people at the World Labor Day celebrations on Sunday May Mosi 2022 assured Workers in the country that the Government in the financial year 2022/2023 will increase salaries for its employees.
